5.2 Proxy Internet Configuration

When either the controller (main device) or controlled device needs to access the internet through a proxy server, you must configure the proxy settings in the DeskIn client to access DeskIn's public network services. (Note: You only need to configure the client that requires a proxy to access the internet.)

Client version should be V1.2.3.2 or above. Configure the controller or controlled device proxy, if issues arise, please contact DeskIn technical support support@zulertech.com

Controller (Main Device) Configuration

Click on "Network Settings”, and enter Proxy IP and Port


Click "Test Proxy" after entering the details If the test passes, enable the proxy by checking "Enable Current Proxy”, the controller will automatically restart and log in again


Controlled Device Configuration

Click on "Network Settings" in the controlled device,and enter Proxy IP and Port (Username & password are optional)


Click "Enable Proxy" to activate the settings Check the connection status on the controlled device, if it shows "Normal, waiting for connection...", the device is successfully connected to the server

Test remote connection from the controller to the controlled device to confirm everything is working correctly
