6.1 Access Permission Allocation Management
6.1.1 Access Permission Allocation Management
Applicable to super administrators or users with device and user management privileges.
There are four types of permission allocations between devices and users:
Device Group ↔ User Group:
All devices under Device Group can be controlled by a User Group (with multiple Users)
Single Device ↔ User Group:
Single device can be controlled by a User Group (with multiple Users)·
Device Group ↔ Single User:
All devices under Device Group can be controlled by a single User
Single Device ↔ Single User:
Single device can be controlled by a single user
Device Group ↔ User Group
Select the target user group, click "Manage Devices Accessible to User Group", and check the device groups.
All users in the selected user group will be able to access all devices in the selected device group.
When new users/devices are added to the user/device group, no further configuration is needed.
The new users/devices will automatically inherit the access permissions of their respective groups.
Single Device ↔ User Group
Select the target user group, click "Manage Devices Accessible to User Group", and check the specific device(s).
All users in the group will gain access to the selected device(s).

When new users are added to the user group, no further configuration is needed.
New users inherit the access permissions of the group.
Device Group ↔ Single User
Select the target device group, click "Manage Accessible Users", and select the target user.
All devices in that group will be accessible to the selected user.

Note:
If you cannot assign the device group to the user, it means the user already has permissions for one or more devices within the group.
To give access to the entire device group (including future devices), first remove the user’s current device permissions under [User List], then assign the full device group permissions.
When new devices are added to the group, they inherit group-level access automatically.
Single Device ↔ Single User
Select the target user, click "Manage Devices Accessible to User", and check the specific device.
The specified device will be accessible to the designated user.
