4.1 Extend Screen

What is Extend Screen?

You can use other device as a second monitor of the controlling device where you can extend screen from the local device to the controlled device.


The client needs to be upgraded to version 3.1.0 or above to use the Extend Screen function.

If both the controlling and the controlled device are using Windows systems, the system requires Win10 version number 1903 or above.
(Presse Ctrl+R, enter winver to view the system version)


How to use Extend Screen?

Method one:

1) Navigate to Screen Mgt Tab and select Extend my Screen


2) In the next window, select the device you want to extend screen to and click Start Extending


3) At this time, the controlling device will pop up a prompt, saying Requesting approval from this device. (if the controlling device and the controlled device are of different accounts, you need permission from the controlled side to use extend screen)


4) When the screen is successfully extended, it will say Extending screen.


5) By clicking the prompt, you will jump to the device list and can adjust the settings of the extended screen, or end the expansion.


Method two:

1) Start extending screen by selecting the device you want to use as second screen and click Screen Mgt on the side toolbar.


2) In the next windows, select Extended Screen


3) At this time, the controlling device will pop up a prompt, saying Requesting approval from this device. (if the controlling device and the controlled device are of different accounts, you need permission from the controlled side to use extend screen)


4) When the screen is successfully extended, it will say Extending screen. By clicking the prompt, you will jump to the device list and can adjust the settings of the extended screen, or end the expansion.
