How to use privacy screen?

How to Use DeskIn Privacy Screen

To protect your remote activities from passerby, you can enable the Privacy Screen feature to black out the host computer's display. During the remote session, navigate to the DeskIn menu (toolbar for tablets, mobiles) and toggle on Privacy Screen.

This ensures that while you are operating the device remotely, any physical passer-by around the hosting computer will see only a black screen or a "DeskIn" notification rather than your active desktop.

Turning on/off Privacy Screen

After initiating remote access, you can turn on or off the Privacy Screen in Toolbar >> Screen >> Privacy Screen.

Note

  1. Currently, the privacy screen is supported only when the controlled device is of windows system.

  2. When the local and remote devices are logging in to the same account, you can directly turn on the privacy screen function;

    When the local and remote devices are logging in to different accounts, consent from the remote end is required before the privacy screen turns on.

  3. If the controlled device is using Windows 7, additional drivers need to be installed to use the privacy screen function.
    Windows 8, Windows 10 or above systems do not need to install additional drivers.
