Unlike traditional remote control software that uses UDP or TCP, DeskIn prioritizes RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) in its latest version to achieve a better remote experience.

Six connection modes:

• RU - Best speed = RUDP (relay)

• RP - Best speed = RUDP P2P

• P - Excellent speed = P2P direct connection | No server relay

  • (The client and local device are in a NAT-friendly network)

• N - Excellent speed = P2P TCP direct connection | No server relay

  • (The client and local device support direct TCP connection)

• T - Moderate speed = TCP server relay mode

  • (The client and local device are in a complex NAT environment where direct connection is not possible)

• U - Moderate speed = UDP server relay mode

  • (The client and local device are in a complex NAT environment where direct connection is not possible) 

• Tips to improve transmission speed:

  • If you have access to your router settings, enable UPNP in the router management page to increase the success rate of P2P direct connections.
